Welcome to my first ever PC build transitioning from Mac OS to Windows for GPU rendering. I was really close to paying someone to build the PC for me but the parts were so expensive in the end, that I didn't trust anyone to take everything away. So, after watching a few Gamer Nexus and Linus PC builds on Youtube, I decided to assemble it myself!
The PC only took me twelve-ish hours to build on and off in between work but to gather all the parts took me two whole months. I was waiting on the 1200w PSU and GPU's for a month by themselves, so I had to install a less powerful PSU just to make sure I could actually get it working and so I could flash the motherboard.
I almost went with NZXT 510i, which I actually ordered and returned because it was way too small and I needed good front-to-back airflow. In total, I rebuilt this PC three times each with different fan patterns. I was trying to find the best layout for the GPU thermals which in the end was the CPU cooler attached to the top left side with 3 fans pulling hot radiator heat out, 3 fans at the front pulling cool air in, and 1 exhaust fan getting rid of any hot air inside the case out the back.
Shout out to Peter Tarka for helping me pick some decent parts, I'll drop all the parts I used below, watch until the end to see photos and videos of the build, and my little helper who installed the fans!
