A child has died following a primary school "massacre" in which a 19-year-old man allegedly launched a brutal attack and stabbed eight people.
An ambulance and helicopter rushed to the school in Prečko, a neighbourhood in Trešnjevka, a district of Croatian capital Zagreb, following the shock attack, with the aircraft touching down on the school's playground.
Local reports state children were among those stabbed by the attacker, with health minister Irena Hrstić confirming one child has died.
