KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - A bank robber with 25 previous convictions will spend decades in prison for his latest crime.

A judge in Kenton County sentenced Brian Ramsey to 20 years in prison. Ramsey robbed the BB&T branch in Covington in December 2015.

Ramsey has 25 previous convictions and at the time of the hold up was out on parole with prior sentences hanging over his head. That means Ramsey must serve at least 10 years in prison on this conviction before being eligible for parole.
