I love to go FAST! Especially in the open runs while snowboarding but also in the trees after some good powder dumps. Mammoth Mountain has amazing off-run lines, but the tree runs are where to go after in dumped 2+ feet in December. Good thing I slowed down a little before running hip first into a medium sized but very much non-moveable TREE....I'm pretty sure things would have turned out much worse if I had hit it at the faster speed I was bolting at just a few seconds before impact. No broken bones, but definitely one hell of a big bruise that took a few days to form. After the third day it had spread across my back and down into my booty crack. Needless to say I stayed off my board for a week or so, because even walking normal was a challenge for a few days. I healed up though, but don't haul so much ass through the trees anymore.....mostly :)
