Foods to prolong your tan: It looks like beach season is over this year, but with some foods, we can prolong the tanned skin tone.
Carrot 🥕: Alpha and beta-carotenes, vitamins and minerals such as manganese that stimulate melanin and prolong the tan.
🍊 Orange: Vitamin C and Elastin that protect against photoaging.
Blueberries: Large amount of anthocyanins, natural pigments that protect the tan and are powerful antioxidants.
Mango and papaya: Rich in vitamins C and A, which increase collagen production, and beta-carotenes which stimulate melanin to prolong the tan.
Spinach: Due to its large amount of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, K, calcium, phosphorus, iron, folic acid, magnesium, zinc and beta-carotene, they help to maintain a tan.
Red peppers: Rich in alpha and beta-carotenes, they help maintain our skin's golden tone for longer.
Lentils: Also rich in alpha and beta-carotenes, they will help keep our skin tan for longer, they are also the less caloric veggie and with more iron.
Gourd: group B vitamins (B1, B2, B3 and B9), minerals and antioxidants. Like all fruits and vegetables with red and orange tones, it is a good ally to keep our skin tanned.
