Maryam Ekhtiar of the Metropolitan Museum of Art delivered this talk, "Gauging the 'Iranian-ness' of Modern and Contemporary Iranian Art: Three Artists, Three Generations" at the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies on Saturday, October 19, 2013 as part of a panel entitled "The Problem of the Modern in Iran." The panel was part of the conference: "On Likeness and Difference: Modern Art of the Middle East and the Confines of Modernism," held from October 18-19. The conference was co-sponsored by the Kevorkian Center and NYU Abu Dhabi.
