I'm hot off submission of my first book's manuscript and whilst I await my edits, I'm sharing my book publishing journey. In this video I cover how I found my literary agent, how I crafted my query, how I wrote my proposal, how the process of submitting to a publisher works, when the best time is to go out to publishers, and how long the process took! My book is non-fiction, and I've taken the traditional publishing route, with Little, Brown publishing it in April 2020.
In future videos, I'll cover book deals, rights, writing process, research, narrative structures, how I funded my writing, writing retreats, and all sorts!
If you have anything specific you want me to cover, please post your questions in the comments, and I'll try my best to answer in future Q&A videos!
