Chris Bradley, owner of Glasgow PT Gym, shares how TeamUp's gym software has helped him better manage his coaching clients and members.
Find out how TeamUp has helped Chris to:
• Take control of payments
• Simplify his scheduling
• Allowed him to offer the best possible customer experience
My name's Chris Bradley. I own the Glasgow PT Gym, and we run an online business as well. My experience of using a Teamup has been pretty amazing. So the last 18 months, obviously it's been tricky in terms of the pandemic and stuff and having to open and close the gym. I think it's very useful considering I do help gyms as well run businesses. I also find very useful the tips that were available for gyms closing and moving things online, that was very useful. What I do love about it, probably my favourite thing is the payments through the membership button. Of course, they've got a booking system, which is amazing, but for me, it's the fact that it's got the payments in there as well and the whole onboarding process.
So for example, if someone purchases they purchase through the software. You then book the sessions, but you can also customize the customer experience so they start seeing whatever you wish to see. So for example, for us, we welcome the client to the team. We send them a welcome email and we'll get them to join our group. We get them to fill in that consultation form.
One thing we found very useful as well is you can add policies and documents. Which, basically the client has to see before they book in. And, it's very important when you're making big changes to your service. There are loads of different things that I could be here all day talking about the different things that are included.
But for me, the payments, the scheduling and the customer experience is probably the three most important things when it comes to running a gym or running a group facility. I'm very happy with it. I've now recommended maybe 30, 40 coaches to the program.
I've been doing this a long time, I haven't been able to use the blogs and stuff as much, but I know that my coaches have. There's much stuff out there to help because let's face it when you Google stuff and try and look it up on the web, it's all about, standardized and stuff like that whereas this is very specific to, yoga instructors, Zoom, gym instructors, personal trainers, gym owners. I'm quite happy with the service, to say the least.
