The house is over 80 years old, & the windows are old heritage-style timber sash-windows.
In this video, the 2 cords on the sash-window are completely broken. This means the glass-panel cannot stay in an open-position because it is disconnected from the lead-weights in the window frame.
Join me in this video, as I replace the cords, by removing the lead-weights & re-attaching 6mm sash-cords between the lead-weight back to the side of the sliding window frame.
