Quebec Premier François Legault and health officials provided an update on the province's efforts to combat COVID-19 on Sunday, and announced in order to help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, which causes the illness COVID-19, all schools and shopping malls in Quebec will remain closed until May 1.
As of March 22, there have been four COVID-19 related deaths in Quebec, while the number of confirmed cases in the province has climbed to 219.
