Amid tension with China, #ArmyChief General MM Naravane will visit Leh, headquarters of 14 Corps, on Tuesday for a security #review of the sensitive #Ladakh sector, where tensions have escalated after a brutal clash between soldiers of the Indian and Chinese army. This will be Naravane’s second visit to Ladakh sector after the border standoff began in early May. He earlier visited Leh on May 22. Meanwhile, India has increased technical drone surveillance of the area even as the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, ITBP, has inducted more battalions into the sector to support army along the 3,488 km Line of Actual Control.
