If you’re hapū (pregnant), getting a free flu jab is your best defence against the flu virus.
Antibodies your body makes from the flu jab are shared with your pēpi (baby), so when they’re born, they have some protection against the flu for the first few months of their life.
You can get the flu vaccine at any stage of pregnancy, and as well as if you’re breastfeeding. Ask your healthcare provider or visit your pharmacy to book an appointment, or find more information here: [ Ссылка ]
