This video shows what remains to an old, out-of-service switch and side spur that leads into the Donaldson Company Incorporated property. This is off of the Norfolk Southern Industrial Lead branch line that serves the west end of town. This company is a manufacturer of air filter products and related parts that serve many different markets. Donaldson started in 1915 by Frank Donaldson Sr. and it got its Frankfort location in the early 1980s. It appears the building and side spur were built brand new just for this company and a building wasn't reused from another facility. It appears this company only received rail service the 1980s and possibly part of the 1990s and has sat overgrown and unused since. This footage was taken in November of 2021.
