Ian Walsh was raised right down the beach from Jaws at a time when the fearsome break was the epicenter of big wave surfing's tow-in revolution. Always aware of the wave, it took him several years to step up to it, but after that initial tow-in session his life -- and career -- as a surfer was changed forever.
