Explosive power can be trained with any exercise that involves application of maximum amount of force in a very short period of time - jumping, punching, throwing and all other sorts of movements.
The aim of such exercises is to develop muscle´s fast-twitch fibers.
Combat sports strength training consists of such plyometric exercises as they are the best for developing explosive functions. Second best are bodybuilding exercises but they are not so effective since they develop general strength, which is needed in explosion, but not the key. Power cleans and snatches are some of the most effective areas to look at, though.
