A year ago today Klay Thompson dropped 37 points in 1 quarter against the Sacramento Kings! Klay's quarter set an NBA record for most points scored in a quarter and in this video I want to break down the kind of shots Klay took in the game.
What you will see is that he basically took any kind of shot imaginable from lay-ups to mid range to catch and shoot and pull up 3's. He only took 2 free-throws in the quarter and was a perfect 13-13 from the field.
The amazing thing is that he was actually pretty well contested on 10 of the 13 shots. I think once a great shooter is in the zone it doesn't matter how well you try and cover him. It's game over!
