Here is a little piece recorded using my standard rig. Following the signal flow, I am simply playing the riff through the looper and then sending it to both amps with an A/B box. Nevermind the timing and stuff, it was a one-take after several beers. I just wanna share it bc I enjoyed the tone. Maybe somebody can use this to find his tone/amp/instrument/tuning combo...
Left you can here the Sunn Model T (Re-Issue), on the right the Sunn Beta Lead. First half of the video a Mini Big Muff is added in the FX loop of the Model T, which compresses and thickens the tone and is my fav sound at all.
The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Traditional from 2013 with a dropped B tuning.
The recording is done using Palmer DI Boxes directly behind the amps with 15 dB attenuation and normal damping (box sim). This just went on to the D/A converter and a standard DAW (reaper).
The riff is sponsored by Baroness from a song called Grad which is one of my favorite songs.
ENJOY!
