Our latest research into illicit cannabis has been a long time coming. In 2023 Curaleaf Clinic partnered with Manchester Metropolitan University to lab test samples obtained from the Greater Manchester and Tyne-and-Wear regions. With nearly 1.8million people believed to be using illicit cannabis to self-medicate, we wanted to understand the potential risks so patients can make informed decisions about their health and if appropriate, access regulated cannabis alongside the support of a doctor.
