In a bid to do away with the effects natural disasters have had on Uganda, the first ever National Risk and Vulnerability Atlas was launched.
It is set to help the Ministry of Disaster Preparedness and Refugees plan for risks based on 7 particular hazards. The project started in 2016 was funded by the United Nations Development Programme.
