So what are the tricks?

1) Quit Matching Colors: Using mismatched jig and trailer colors can create combinations that are unique and appealing to the fish.

2) Use a Pitchin' Jig: The "Arkie" style head of the pitchin jig will work well in virtually any kind of color. It will save you money and time so you don't have to carry a stock of flippin, pitchin, and football jigs. One head design takes care of every need.

3) Mix Up Your Retrieve: There is nothing wrong with dragging a jig but don't be afraid to employ a double hop or even an aggressive snapping action to draw really aggressive strikes from bigger, wary bass.
