Your canon printer light is blinking 7 times amber or orange and 7 times green? It is probably the waste ink sponge counter error that froze the printer and needs to be reset.
Service mode G7000 seri : G7020 G7040 G7050 G7070....
1 - Power off the printer but do not unplug it.
2 - Hold the Power (POWER) button
3 - Keep holding the power button and press the STOP button 6 times
4 - After pressing the Stop button 6 times, release the POWER key, wait a bit and you will see the light source stand still without blinking anymore.
