Andhra Pradesh government arrived at a major decision on construction of new capital. It decided to construct the capital at Thullur mandal, Guntur. Thullur is 5 km away from Krishna river. The road from Thullur will go towards Mangalagiri and Tadepalli. The Government even decided to acquire 30000 acres of lands from farmers through land pooling
