Phaploen Market is a night market that has lots of interesting food stalls, traditional Thai crafts, and music and dance performances. There's lots of seating and it's a family friendly place, particularly earlier in the evening. It's located outside the eastern wall of the Chiang Mai old town, towards the Ping River.
