Given the opportunity to create content as ALL ARTS’ first artist in residence, Taylor Mac turns to 19th century American poet, queer icon, and source of inspiration Walt Whitman.

In this clip, Mac performs the second of three interpretations of Walt Whitman's "Native Moments." Costume designer Machine Dazzle and make-up designer Anastasia Durasova created looks inspired by the woodland surroundings of the Lower Hudson Valley.

"Whitman in the Woods." was created by Mac, Noah Greenberg, Luis Moreno and more, and produced by Pomegranate Arts.
