Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has confirmed that e-tolls will be scrapped once an agreement with the National Treasury is reached. Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana had already sounded the death knell for Gauteng's e-tolls when he announced last week that government would take over 70 per cent of the Sanral's debt on the project.
