Tactics Ogre Reborn Preview and First Impressions from my first 12 hours with the game. I can't believe it, this is exactly what I wanted. They've essentially distilled what the long term fans have experienced through challenge runs and the like into an approachable package that feels as easy to manage as Classic, with the depth of Remake, the immediate understandability of Final Fantasy Tactics, and many aspects from Knight of Lodis, OB64, and March of the Black Queen in there for good measure.
While I would like to some some changes, like pixellated sprites (Which likely would look funky, to be honest), an option to change the schwing sounds (Which feel very Classic to me, but they go through my headphones when my wife is sleeping nearby), or profiles for save files...this is seriously everything I wanted and then some.
