A 24-year-old man arrested in connection with the rape and murder of 6-year-old Amantle Samane will today make his second appearance in the Protea Magistrate's Court in Soweto.
Mozambican Pethe Sara Simao is expected to apply for bail.
He faces charges of rape, murder, kidnapping and being in the country illegal.
Samane's body was found inside a shack meters away from her home on Monday last week.
Her funeral was held at the Orlando East communal hall in Soweto yesterday.
