By no means am I a tart genius, but this simple recipe makes me look good!
400 degree oven
CREAM CHEESE LAYER:
4 ounces cream cheese softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
BLUEBERRY LAYER
2 cups fresh blueberries
2 tablespoons sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
CRUMBLE
2 tablespoons sugar
zest of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup flour
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place baking sheet in oven to preheat
Step 2
In medium bowl mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice until combined
Step 3
In another medium bowl, combine blueberries, sugar and lemon juice
Step 4
In medium bowl, rub or cut in sugar and lemon zest with fingers until fragrant; mix in flour. Add butter and mix til granular.
Step 5
On a piece of parchment paper, roll pastry to a 12 inch by 9 inch rectangle. Fold in sides about 1/4 inch all the way around to created a border.
Step 6
Spread cream cheese layer over pastry up to border.
Spoon blueberry mixture layer over cream cheese.
Sprinkle crumble over all.
Very carefully slide parchment onto preheated sheet.
Step 7
Bake tart until pastry is golden brown and puffed and blueberries are bursting
Mine took 30 minutes.
