Migori Senator Ben Olouch succumbed to throat cancer in Nairobi's MP Shah Hospital shortly after midnight early Tuesday. Olouch was recuperating at the MP Shah Hospital after a month long stay in India where he had been undergoing treatment. While at the Senate he served in various committees and before moving to politics the first time senator was a former radio presenter on Ramogi FM and KBC English Service. Family and friends in Nairobi and Migori eulogized the leader as a humble hard working man with a lot of potential. Preparations for the burial have begun.
