Bank of Uganda executive director for research Adam Mugume has expressed confidence in the country’s macro economic fundamentals, insisting that the parliamentary inquiry into the sale of 8 commercials banks has not in anyway impacted on the central banks corporate governance image.
During a presentation of the December Monetary policy statement, the bank has also stayed the CBR at 10 percent.
