T5 Transmission Conversion Kit - 1970 Ford Mustang - Project Clara - EP. 10
One of the many decisions that we have had to make so far on Project Clara is what are we keeping stock and what are we doing different and better on. One of those, and a major one, is converting the stock FMX transmission to a manual T5 transmission. After a lot of research and saving, we opted to go with the CJ Pony Parts T5 Transmission conversion kit because it literally included almost everything needed, short of a few smaller pieces that are covered in this episode. This kit also will handle up to 500hp which is just above what our target is so we knew it would be a safe build.
