Shounter Valley is a sub valley of Neelum Valley in Azad Kashmir. It is a beautiful valley with breathtaking views that captivates its visitors and gives them a chance to see nature clearly. Reaching Shounter Valley is not much easy as it includes a tough jeep ride and a long trek too.
It is accessible from Kel. From Kel, you have to clear your journey towards Domail on a 4*4 Jeep. The journey to Domel takes about 3 to 4 hours and it is the base camp of Chitta Katha Lake. After the Jeep Safari, you have to trek for 7 to 8 hours to reach the Chitta Katha Lake in Shounter Valley.
