In discussing the Meccan or Medinan nature of the revelation of verse 26 of Surah Al-Isra, which mentions Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her) as "Dhū al-Qurbā," Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stated: "It has been narrated from the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) that while a surah may be Medinan, some of its verses can be Meccan, and vice versa."
