Hi everybody! Ray here for West Coast Shaving’s daily video shave series. So I was fortunate to get my hands on the unbreakable lather bowl from Pereira shavery. The make a variety of products from bowls to soaps and are based out of Portugal. The bowl is made of plastic and other materials that are molded into a unique pattern that allows a soap to easily build a lather. Also there is a finger loop to grip onto when lathering and built in brush rest for when you are shaving. This very durable and can be thrown into a travel bag without fear of it breaking. For the quality and effectiveness of it I rate it a 10 out of 10.
For today’s shave I am using The Artisan Soap Shoppe. This company is based out of Missouri and produced by Jenny Peck. Her products come in a variety of soap scents and matching aftershave splashes or moisturizers
Today I am using the scent of Triumph which pays homage to Aventus. This is a tallow based soap. When you open the tub you smell currant, bergamot and flowers. As it blooms and lathers some musk, moss and vanilla are noted combing with the other scents making a masculine scent. Scent profile I’d give it an 9 out of 10.
A thick creamy lather easily builds providing great slickness and protection for the razor. So I would rate it a 9 out of 10. Finishing it off with the matching after shave splash which is a refreshing and cooling. So post shave my skin feels well moisturized and nourished. So I would rate that a 9 out of 10.
I used the timeless titanium razor which is super light and efficient. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
The brush I used was the WCS two tone the 26mm synthetic brush. There is a firm backbone and soft tips to the brush. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
