Jake Polledri was one of the success stories of 2017-18 having signed from Hartpury RFC in the summer of 2017. He quickly became a first team regular and earned his first full Italy cap against Scotland in Rome.
The rampaging backrow was shortlisted for Young Player of the Year at the RPA Awards and Discovery of the Season at the Premiership Rugby End of Season Awards.
Jake continued to impress and was named in Italy's squad for the Rugby World Cup where he made a big impact out in Japan.
Suffering a major injury whilst on international duty, Polledri was forced to watch on from the sideline for the 2020/21 season but he hopes to be back playing at Kingsholm as soon as he can.
