i often see that critical people within organisation are being perceived as difficult and a pain in the $@#. i always love to have critical people on board when i am innovating. criticism is a sign of involvement and engagement. and it balances over-enthusiasm. watch astro teller, the head of (google) X, beautifully explaining this.
