Town of Cheektowaga is a ring suburb of the city of Buffalo New York, and is considered the transportation hub of Erie County. With the challenges faced of having an increased daytime population, Town of Cheektowaga Police Department greater maximises their facilities and faculty to accommodate to an inner city workload, as in proven with a 50% reduction in forced incidents under the last two years. With the implementation of heightening community groups such as the F.A.T.H.E.R.S organization and MadDads, Cheektowaga have been able to increase police awareness of the minority communities within the town, and help youths avoid a life of crime.
