In this video, I will shortly explain the identification of wheat yellow rust disease which is very dangerous and yields a limiting factor in wheat crop.
Wheat rust symptoms are yellow powder in strip or irregular spots on wheat plant leaves or stems.
Wheat rust disease should be treated immediately after identification in fields. Delay in fungicide spray may cause drastic decrease in wheat crop yield.
The best fungicides for control of wheat rust disease are;
Propiconazole ( Tilt by Syngenta company) but this is good as precautionary spray in wheat field.
Mixtures of two fungicides are considered good to manage wheat rust disease. Mixtures are very effective in wheat fields against rust disease.
Tebuconazole and Trifloxystrobin mixture which is available by Nativo name in Bayer company is a very effective fungicide product.
Azoxystrobin and Difenoconazole mixture is found by the name Amistar top by Syngenta company. Azoxystrobin and Tebuconazole mixture is an example of an excellent fungicides combination to control wheat fungal diseases.
