Renaud's free programme is once more highly technical. While one usually tries to minimize the difficulties, he always challenged himself to fly high level sequences in order to catch the judges' eye... only for top pilots.
Here you can see no fewer than 10 negative snap rolls mixed up with positive ones, all flown in a very narrow flying box.
Renaud is demonstrating again his powerful and elegant flying style, close to perfection. The first right and left rolls are explosives, the following inverted push is at -9.0g and the rest of the flight is very well trimmed and accurate.
The judges are sitting at the opposite side of the camera, this means they can't see Renaud's taking advantage of the very last negative snap pushing him away, allowing him to execute this one of a kind (insane...) right hand rolling turn at very high speed, towards the judges, at the limit of a dynamic stall... from the judges' perspective this was very impressive to see !
This programme is probably the very best free 420k ever executed.
Dedicated to our dearest friends Renaud (29), Alice (34) and their young kids Adrien (4) and Louise (2) who didn't survive the crash of their Jodel DR-1050 Ambassadeur flying back home on 03 october 2010.
