Easy, lightweight layers are where it's at for Spring fashion, especially when you're a busy mama that needs to grab pieces on the go. I've seen kimono style cardigans around for the past couple of years and wanted to try my hand at making one for a while. Today I'm going to share with you how to sew a kimono cardigan that has a beautiful fringe detail. It's really easy - there's just 5 rectangles and a whole lot of straight seams!
All you need is a top that currently fits you, and about 2 yards of lightweight fabric. I used some cotton voile. If you want, you can also grab some fringed trim to finish off the sleeves and the bottom hem.
