NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Performing Arts Humanities Outreach Program brought the performance Cranked to their Polk Theater Friday. With only a dj off to the side, for 45 minutes Graeme McComb stands center stage, blending spoken word poetry and hip hop. He's telling the story of Stan, a talented teenage hip hop artist that becomes addicted to meth.It is about him specifically, his journey, says McComb. You get to focus on his life and how he has to deal with it.Stan is fictional, but the issues he faces are very real.
