Quick shooting test of my own personal sanded and polished WE G19 Gen 4 with a Surefire X300 Ultra Flashlight replica, rubber slip on grip, and a extended magazine baseplate.
This is the same exact G19 Gen 4 in my previous video before I sanded/polished the slide from black to silver which is found here: [ Ссылка ]
I showcase the flashlight in the video as well and has ambidextrous controls, it has two lighting modes: monetary (press the switch forward) and steady (flip the switch downward).
For the silver/stainless/chrome slide, I disassembled the slide by taking out the guide rod, inner/outer barrel, sights, and the entire nozzle/blowback assembly. Once that is done, I used 60 grit sandpaper to remove the majority of the original paint with vigorous sanding, then progressed to 200, 400, then 600 grit sandpaper to smooth out the slide. Afterwards, I used a metal polish to give the gun a nice shine and a protective coating so it doesn't rust from oxidation. I sanded and polished everything by hand, no tools or chemical paint removers were used since I didn't have any at the time.
This took about 4-5 hours of very tedious and patient work to ensure all the paint is removed and that the slide is evenly sanded on all surfaces for a smooth finish.
The slide serrations were an absolute nightmare and took the longest, the tiny space and the angle makes it very difficult to sand!
The silver/stainless slide is highly reflective when it hits a light source. I personally love the look of the silver/stainless slide since it gives a pleasing "two-tone" look.
The WE G19 is a reliable, affordable, and great replica of the Glock 19. I actually prefer A G19 compared to a full size G17/G18 because it fits my hand perfectly without being too small or big. While it is heavily used and has cosmetic negatives, this works without any issues, has great performances, includes a large selection of aftermarket upgrade parts, and replacement parts are easily available.
This is a Gen 4 model because it has the checkered frame, enlarged magazine release, and comes with two additional backstraps.
When I inserted the magazine, I performed a "power stroke" to chamber in a BB instead of using the slide release. All you do is pull back the slide so it disengages with a loaded magazine and it automatically goes into battery.
The box I shot at was from a old WE G17 that I had, it had nothing to do with the WE G19 in the video in case you were wondering.
Unlike most of my previous videos, I've used a tri-pod this time instead of recording with one hand working the gun, and the other hand holding the camera.
If you noticed, I am wearing gloves in this video. I immediately lubed up the internals right after making this video.
These short shooting videos were created to showcase the functionality and externals of the gun for my buyers. I sell these airsoft guns via Reddit on a subreddit called r/airsoftmarket.
