After capturing the undisputed "Shatabdi King Of IR" in PWL-MTJ many times I decided to capture it from a different spot.
But somehow I wasn't able to go at any station post Mathura due to my hectic schedule, so on this weekend I made sure that I will definitely visit a spot where "THE RIPPER" side of the speed kings is unleashed.
In the morning I went to VRBD for morning action but unfortunately there was a caution of 20 km/hr on the UP line. From there I took PWL~AGC MEMU which landed me at Farah station at 6:45 am sharp.
I witnessed the speedy actions of the north bound trains which were pounding the station at their very best. At 7:25 I saw a WAP-7 powered train which was being looped. To my surprise it was 18238 Chattisgarh Express, the ill fated as always. At 7:30 the starters went green, indicating the upcoming thunderstorm.
While I was having a chit-chat with one of the passenger about trains and stuff. I heard a large honk from the other end of the station so I quickly took out my cam and start recording the epic scenario. To my surprise it was the mighty Agent 007 aka Ghaziabad WAP-5 #30007 which is a regular link for Gatimaan Express nowadays.
As the people were standing very close to the platfom edge, the loco pilot decided to give the warning signals to the fools who decided to face the "hurricane". With a terrific yet musical honking the GZB's white elephant WAP-5 #30007 with 12002 Bhopal Shatabdi Express overtook the puny 18238 Chattisgarh Express at well above 150 km/hr mark and crossed within seconds raising my adrenaline level rush to all time high. The scenario was so intense that even the passengers in the sidelined train level was wondering WTF just passed :D
Turn Up The Volume & Enjoy.
