(5 Oct 1961) Confidence prevailed the Labour Party Conference in Blackpool. There was a civic welcome from the Mayor (Alderman Cross), and Mr Richard Crossman was in the chair. Our pictures show Mr Harold Wilson, one of the party's leaders, Mr Ian Mikardo, Barbara Castle, Alice Bacon, Jennie Lee and, of course, Mr Hugh Gaitskell.
