[ Ссылка ] - 'The McQueensbury Rules' Alexander McQueen's 2009 Mens Autumn Winter Collection
The title is a fusion of McQueen's own name and that of the nineteenth century boxer famed for a sense of fair play and his establishing of the Queensbury rules. It's small wonder with this in mind that this is amongst McQueen's most unashamedly masculine vision to date. Dark-eyed models with gleaming canes are tough almost to the point of menacing and clothes are highly luxurious though never even remotely dandyish or fey. Once again, tailoring in traditional menswear fabrics is the focus of the collection. Coats, too, feature prominently and are as big, bad and broody as it is possible to imagine.
