Tamir Ginz, a prominent Israeli dancer and choreographer, trained in Israel and abroad before performing with the Haifa Ballet and the Batsheva Dance Company (1991-1992). He served as resident choreographer and contemporary dance teacher at Bat-Dor Dance Company (1991-2001), where his work "Platform 1" won the 1997 Albert Gaubier award for choreography.
In 2002, Ginz co-founded KAMEA Dance Company with Daniella Schapira in Beer Sheva and has been its sole artistic director and house choreographer since 2014. His leadership has earned KAMEA international acclaim.
Ginz’s innovative dance style and dramatic works have captivated audiences worldwide. He holds a B.A. in English Linguistics and Literature and Sociology from Haifa University, and a dance teaching diploma from Kibbutz State Seminar College. He also founded and directed the dance department at “Blich High School” in Ramat-Gan (1997-2013).
He received the Israeli Ministry of Culture's award for outstanding “Zionist” creativity in dance in 2014 and 2015. GCDANCEVENTS represents Tamir globally, promoting his artistic work.
