I'm attempting to cultivate a mother of vinegar. I had two liters of red wine that I started with and then added about a cup of unfiltered/unpasteurized red wine vinegar to the wine. With any luck, the alcohol in my red wine will revitalize the dormant acetobacter in the vinegar bottle and it will form a new mother for future recipes. I'll make an updated video once something significant happens.
