While trying out my new VersaFine Clair inks I was stamping them onto scrap cardstock that already had a few things on it, including some Delicata ink. That’s when I noticed something very interesting: the Delicata seemed to be resisting being covered up by the VersaFine Clair ink! Wanting to be very sure what was happening, I tried it on purpose and found that yes, indeed, Delicata ink acts as a natural resist when VersaFine Clair is stamped on top of it. This is a great technique for layering background and foreground images or adding a subtle all-over pattern to different stamps, giving your finished project a nice, cohesive look. And it’s just plain cool!
