Meet Sophie Gershtenson a third-year Interior Design student from the University of Kentucky in today's #PAVEStudentSpotlight!

Sophie is a third-year student at the University of Kentucky’s College of Design studying interior design and environmental and sustainability studies. She holds a passion for design that is sustainable both environmentally and socially. She is inspired by the natural world and believes that the incorporation of curvilinear lines and biophilia is crucial in creating an interior environment that feels connected to the outside world. While open to many avenues of sustainable design in her professional career, Sophie is most interested in pursuing work involved with affordable housing units, greenhouse design, and industrial design.
