The three world cultural #heritages in #Hangzhou, namely, the #West #Lake Cultural Landscape, the Grand #Canal, and the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, are Hangzhou's cultural hallmarks. June 22 marks the anniversary of the successful inscription of the Grand Canal as a World Heritage site. The #Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is the world's oldest and longest manufactured canal. The canal, which is 1,794 kilometers long with over 2,500 years, starts in Beijing in the north and ends in #Hangzhou in the south, running through Tianjin Municipality and then Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang provinces along the way.
